Questionnaires

The partners of the EU-project EISfOM (European Information Systems for Organic Markets) have gathered information on existing Data Collection and Processing Systems (DCPS) in 32 European countries to improve existing DCPS for organic products and therefore the quality and reliability of organic data.

In this process national and regional statistical offices as well as market agencies, which collect and process data on both organic and conventional production and products have been asked to give information about their DCPS (Data Collection and Processing System) by two kinds of questionnaires.

The first questionnaire have collected general information about the type of agencies and organizations collecting data in the different countries.

The second questionnaire have surveyed more detailed information about the existing DCPS. As there are different levels for data collection (farm/production, processor/wholesaler, import/export, retail level and consumer level), separate questionnaires have been prepared for each level.
